In-Floor Cooling Devices
for ConCore and All Steel Systems

DirectAire™ & DirectAire™ X2
Unlike other grates the DirectAire and DirectAire X2 angle the airflow toward the server rack to significantly reduce bypass air and achieve a 93% Total Air Capture (TAC) rate. This means 93% of the airflow delivered through the grate is entering the face of a standard 42U rack, providing the highest cooling capacity and energy efficiency of any grate on the market. DirectAire is designed for a one-to-one pairing with a rack while DirectAire X2 divides the airflow to provide even distribution to racks on either side of the cold aisle in data center that have only one accessible airflow panel.

Panel Features
• Directional Air Flow
• Pressure Equalizing Diffusion Blades
• 68% Open Area provides 2,600 CFM @ .1” H2O
• Supports over 25kW per rack (X2 over 12.5kW per rack)
• 93% Total Air Capture
• 2000 lbs Rolling Load
• 2,500 lbs Design Load
• Safety Factor >2.0

Applications
The DirectAire Grate is designed to be used interchangeably with ConCore, All Steel panels made to fit in a 24” stringered system. Suitable for a wide range of applications from typical data centers to telecommunication rooms, mission critical facilities, electronic assembly areas, and general purpose equipment applications. DirectAire’s provide significant energy savings in both low and high density raised floor environments.

Static Loads

Rolling Loads

*All tests are performed using CISCA’s Recommended Test Procedures for Access Floors with the exception of Design Load
1. Design Load is tested using CISCA’s Concentrated Load test method on actual understructure instead of steel blocks. Design Load is determined by taking the lesser value of ultimate load divided by two or the point at which permanent damage begins to occur.
2. Safety factor is the factor of Design load that can be divided into the Ultimate Load. International standards recommend a minimum of 2.

[tab title=”ContainAire™ “]
ContainAire™

This easy to install product is an excellent solution for hot and cold air separation. You will see immediate results: Intake temperatures lowered. Return temperatures increased. The benefits include reduced energy costs and increased cooling capacity. Special ceiling attachments with a 360 degree swivel allow the partition system to be easily attached to ceiling grid in any direction and at any point along the track. UL and FM rated links are designed so that curtains fall away in the case of a fire, allowing sprinklers full operation range.

ContainAire™ Partitions

ContainAire Partitions are made of clear anodized aluminum tracks with overlapping ESD fire resistant vinyl sheets that meet the requirements of UL 94 V-0, CPAI-84 and NFPA 701 1,000 hours U.V. ASTM Weatherometer. The aluminum tracks connect to the ceiling t-grid system with UL and FM Global listed quick mount 360° fire suppression links. Splicer’s attach one track of partitions to the next allowing you to create any desired length. The ContainAire Partitions come in pre-packaged sections which must be ordered to meet the dimensions of your specific aisle containment.

ContainAire™ Retracting Roof

ContainAire™ Retracting Roof

The ContainAire Retracting Roof is made of black anodized aluminum tracks that attach directly to the top of the IT racks and lay flat to prevent interference with other overhead obstructions. Fully adjustable to lengths up to 30′ the Retracing Roof is available in 60″ and 84″ widths to accommodate most cold aisles. The vinyl is rolled from a housing and attaches at the other end using fire suppression links that release allowing it to automatically roll back into the housing during a fire to eliminate the need for additional fire detection and suppression systems inside the containment structure. The ContainAire Retracting Roof kit includes all of the components
and fasteners required to assemble and install the roof containment.
